Winter / Spring update:

Retiring Paperweights: Royal Crown Derby announced on February 1st that five paperweights would retire on the 30th June 1999 Not 31st December as normal, the retiring pieces will be :

While on the subject of retirments don't forget that the Bakewell Duckling retires on the 31st of March to make way for the Derbishire Duckling to be launched on April 11th at Sinclairs first event of the year.

Event piece has been changed from the earlier announced "Quail" to a "Partridge" still to be limited issue of 4,500. Designed and Modeled by John Ablitt.

The "Striped Dolphin" will be added to the general range in 2000 the only difference being that the general range will have a standard backstamp instead of the gold version used to denote the Connaught House version.

Autumn update:

Govier's exclusive colourway of the "Drummer Teddy Bear" is on schedule for release in December limited to an edition of 1500 the edition is almost fully subscribed. Cost of the bear is £80 limited to one per collector unless ordered as a pair with the matching plate.

Miniature Bears (Edward & Victoria) to be released in a new colourway in 1999.

Connaught House are now taking deposits on orders for their exclusive limited edition of 1500 gold backstamp "Striped Dolphin" paperweight due to be released in March / April 1999. Cost expected to be around £100.
